  • 13.5% alc...all I kept saying as we consumed this bottle, reminded me of the A-Team: "I love it when a plan comes together."...On the nose an opening chorus of mushrooms, and closed up cabernet-ness, but given an hour or so this wine appeared glorious on the nose with chocolate, sweet dark red berries, a serious "dusty" quality, HUGE cassis with a tinge of dried herbs...the palate was balanced, classical LG, outstanding structure (still), great acidity, deep and rich red berries that coast into a LONG, LONG, LONG finish - literally still tasting this wine 30+ seconds later. Plain delicious, and I don't remember the price except for a personal note quoting less than $20. Like I said before, I love it when a plan comes together. I can depend on my son waking by 7 daily, taxes, and LG always producing exceptional wines.
