hints of creosote, and black currant on the nose. Medium-Full bodied with a fair amount of tannin and good acidity. This has lived well, but was probably better a couple of years ago. That said, it is in fine shape for a wine of this price! More black currant, spice and mint! 90

Light bodied for a cab, smooth with good complexity and finish. We let it breathe a little, but it did not require a lot of decanting. A very good value.

I think the "greenness" that some have noted has turned to tobacco, mint, and some earthiness. I also notice flavors of currant, blackberry, plum and a whole range of black and red fruits. A bit tart, but dry on the palate. Very good QPR if this is your style. Comparable to many Washington State Cabernets

This is Laurel Glen's second label. I've always enjoyed and admired the Sonoma Mountain product, so there's high expectations for the second label. Primary aromas and flavors of black currant, cassis, blackberry, cherry, and plum; followed by hints of cigar box, coffee, chocolate, and some evolving earthiness. Nice finish.
