Shockingly good. A few years ago I opened one of these and it was brutally tannic and never came around. I opened this as a "pop & dump". I was really shocked to see how this had matured! The tannins are finally resolving and a very nice wine is the result. Very good!

The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Rich & Dana's): Deep garnet color. I could have smelled this all night and been perfectly happy. Notes of forest floor, underbrush, herbs, roasted red bell pepper, plum and red currant. Medium-bodied, with terrific balance and flavors of red fruit, plum and dark fruit. Long finish, with subtle raspberry ganache and herb tones. Developed a nice iron note with time in the glass. 93+ pts.
We all thought this was left bank Bordeaux, and narrowed it down to St. Julien during our discussion. This has to be the fourth or fifth time I have tasted a Laurel Glen blind and thought it to be St. Julien.
