This was exquisite today. Bursting with a floral vigor, after some air the palate caught up with lovely minerale fruit and a decent long finish. Just starting to develop some secondary flavours.

This was opened early, put back in the cellar. Decanted for an hour...Quite primary still....Beautifully focused palate. Smooth tannin and acid. This will easily drink well for 20 or more years. I should not open another for 4-5 years.

Terroir-istes International - France, Burgundy, Vougeot (Overgaauw Wine Estate): (Tasted Blind): A light to mid garnet graduating to a mahogany, brown-edge. Reasonably intense nose with aromas of strawberry, meat stock and wet stones. Slightly evolved but ripe fruit yet also slightly fuzzy yet not volatile. A slightly hollow mid-palate that is very savoury with notes of white pepper, roasted herbs, capers (pickled), earth and fragments of feral, wild, pretty elements. Slightly compromised in my opinion.

Opened and immediately lovely nose. As time wore on it got better showing cherries and minerality perfectly balanced a characteristic of great burgs. Drink again in 3-5 years to see how it evolves

Tasted older than I was expecting. Nice mineral notes and spice, but really not measuring up in terms of depth of flavor for this caliber of wine.
PnP and consumed over a long dinner.
