this had beautiful florals on the nose, on palate it was at the same time lifted and bright and very full with fruit galore (decided red fruit), decent acidity but I would have appreciated a little more... also some minerals swirling around in there with the fruit... almost to opulent but the lightness / lift helped keep it from being heavy... really really interesting and could be either cloying or 95 pts plus in ten to fifteen years... we will see, but I'm def'ly going to buy some more

Pronounced notes of cherry, red plum, lavender, olive and vanilla. The fruit has a particular glossy, high-toned quality to it. On the palate there's high acid and well integrated tannins -- and a definite focused feel.
I don't feel quite like my review is doing this wine justice, definitely something I'd like to spend more time with.

Mostly Modest Young Burgundy from Two Tastings; 5/3/2019-5/4/2019 (Dig Wines and K&L Wines, San Francisco): Light ruby with clearing. Smoke and herbs. Medium weight, real sappiness, strong acidity, excellent soil, refined tannins, and moderately oaky. Good material here, and neither too rustic nor austere for Clos Vougeot. Better in 7 or 8 years.
