  very good on night one, dark red fruit, burgundy like on night one, open and charming, same on night two right after being opened again... but softer after 30-60 minutes (on night two)... I would think this wine is a little softer (less structure - tannin / acidity) than most 12 year old Barolo, but still quite fine... would recommend drinking in the next 5 years or so however

  100% Nebbiolo Rose.
  Aromas: explosive strawberry, sugar plum, fennel, raspberry, and indiscriminate floral notes.
  Palate: Underbrush, dead leaves, and mineral notes intertwined with dried herbs, black pepper, and a leathery savory meat type flavor. Finishes with some strawberry/raspberry. A silky wine that still tastes very youthful. This could probably use more time in the bottle, but the acid and tannin are already well integrated.

  Pop and poured. Drank over 2+ hours. Drank in Conterno Sensory. Tasted semi-blind.
  Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
  Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of sweet licorice, deep red floral roses, sweet oak, red fruits. Developing.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.5%), soft medium+ tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet licorice, envelope of vanilla oak, sweet red cherries, strawberries, sweet spices, floral roses. Long finish.
  Very good quality. Lovely wine. Perhaps oak still a little obtrusive, but when integrated in should be lovely.
  Made from Nebbiolo Rosé clone in the Vigna Elena vineyard inside the Ravera cru in the commune of Novello.

  Ripe, dark fruit and some tar. Full-bodied but balanced by plenty of tannin and acidity. Very nice.
