  • Wow…fantastic bottle of wine. Took two hours in a decanter to fully awaken. This should have a long and rich life ahead.

  • Nose of crushed bing cherry and currents, and earthy soil. Pallet follows with crushed cherries, cherry piths, Black tea, herbal elements of thyme, leather and cedar box, crushed currents With a mid pallet that caresses to a long finish. This is a classy Wine, and deserves to be enjoyed over the next 6 to 7 years.

  • Pale garnet with onion rim.
On the nose, extremely perfumed and charming, dry orange peel, white pepper spices, freshly crushed strawberries, raspberry, rose petals, pomegranate, juicy red cherry, fresh apricot, menthol leaf, subtle truffle notes.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, high tannins, medium plus body, pronounced flavor intensity, fresh cherry, juicy, subtle leather and truffle notes. Long finish with waves of evolving flavours and savoury touch.
Outstanding wine. Very elegant and perfumed, precise and pure! This is exactly what a classic style top Barolo should be. Really enjoyable even now and has long ageing potentials.

  • Strong aromas of rose, camphor, and perfume at first. With some time in glass, aromas of ash, dried herbs, and sweet balsamic emerge. It really is a fantastically intriguing nose on this. At most medium bodied on the palate - perhaps medium minus?!. For me, this does create the sensation of being underpowered particularly in the mid-palate. The finish is long with earth, wild berries, dried herbs, and delicate tannins. On day 2, a little more structure came through and wine generally opened up.
However, overall perception - fascinating, unique but somehow not fully enamored.

  • Alcohol: 14,50%. TA: 5,83 g/L. RS: 0,41 g/L.
Medium Ruby with Orange hues. Complex, beautiful nose. Cinnamon, menthol, rose petals and balsamic notes. Elegantly structured on the palate. Depth, complexity, freshness and concentration. Tight and refined. So well integrated tannins. Long, lingering finish. A great Barolo!
