Medium, golden color. Lovely aged Riesling nose of petrol, green apple, flowers, and pear. The off dry palate displays petrol at first, with Granny Smith apple, pear, minerals, and lemon. Structurally, there is moderate acidity in this light-bodied wine, and it comes across as off-dry. The finish is long with vibrant acidity and a green apple edge. Overall, this wine balances aged notes of petrol with lemon and green apple to provide a unique wine of complexity and vibrancy.

Thick, , silky, medium heavy but light on its feet. Hints of lemon, honey, tart green apple with a long bright acidic finish. Mellow yet lively with a lot of class and a hint of spritz. Stone, steel and a razor sharp edge. Lovely and mature. I believe this is the wine I have held the longest. B+/A-

Chef's Table @ Brooklyn fare - round 2! (Chef's Table @ Brooklyn Fare, Brooklyn, NY): Deep yellow color. Mature on nose w a touch of petrol. Apples-calvados. Very laser-like on palate, but also big w apples, lots of minerals. Maybe a touch past the peak, but still superb. This is one of those little gems that you pull out and it just surprises you how it shines. a real treat. Everyone loved it. Nose:4 /6, Palate: 6/6, Finish: 5/6, Je ne sais quoi (wild card): 2/2 = 17/20 = 95/100.

Opened just prior to drinking. Rather restrained nose with white peaches and dew. Also a bit restrained on the palate with notes of mineral, peaches, pears. Good acidity and handled the quite spicy Thai food very well. Good but not great at this showing. It appeared that this may be much too early for this wine to show well but it seemed to have a good future ahead of it.

Very fresh and vibrant. Loaded with lemons and flowers. Great with Indian food. A very pleasant surprise and my favorite non-Kracher Austrian to date.
