  • Medium ruby colored. Nice nose with dried roses, ripe strawberries and some smoky wood. On the palate red berries like strawberries, fresh cherries and dried raspberries are dominant. Some nice black tea and herbal notes in the background. Medium bodied with a vibrant medium intense acidity. Silky tannins, nearly completely integrated. Amazing structure and an awesome complexity but it feels a little tight and closed down in the moment. It wants to perform but it’s just not there. Good overall balance, will even be better in 5 years. Very nice and savory medium long to long finish.
We decanted this wine for a few hours but it was still a little tight. It will definitely evolve and benefit from some more aging. Wait a little longer and drink from 2024 - 2040. (IG)

  • Raspberries and roses. Aims for balance and poise rather than flashiness. Very long. The fine tannins coat the palate and suppress the fruit a bit at the moment, so drink it with food if you plan to open a bottle soon. Approachable now for its primary fruit, with years ahead.

  • I followed this wine over six days. While it was good from the first glass on day one, it became obvious that this has a lot more potential. This has a lot of depth, high aromatic complexity all packed in a very harmonious and soft frame. My ratings improved from 93 to 96 points (with some back and forth movement). 94+++ points.

TN: Lots of sexy soft raspberry, some strawberries, black tea, sous bois, some herbal scents, coca cola, wet stone minerality, slight hints of fine oak. Over the days more dark fruit and more mineral notes mixed in. Medium+ finish. Very good concentration, complexity and precision. Tannins are very soft. Already perfectly integrated. Acidity on day one a bit disturbing at times but on the following days well integrated providing a good level of freshness. Overall great balance.

Decanting: I would say a 2-3 hours decant will do the job and open-up the wine.
