Dense blackcurrant and spice on nose continues with same intensity on palate. A bit of garrigue and char blend in.
Some stemminess at present, likely to blend into the otherwise subtle tannins in a while. Oak, while present, is unobtrusive. Medium body, medium acidity

Yarra, Mornington, Geelong wine tour day two (Yarra Valley): Dusty glass, clay, earth, meaty black fruits, alcohol prickle lends pepperiness. Juicy tends to medium plus intensity acidity, black fruits are non-delineated - Phil says a little raspberry compote but I don't see it. tannins are tight, grippy, persistent, slightly drying and, despite being too much for the fruit, are good. Simple, very long.
