  Anjou pears, green apples, white flowers, honeysuckle, lemon curd, vanilla, and orange peel create the complex nose. The palate picks up where the nose leaves off with its yellow citrus, pineapple, spice, and tangerine accents. The finish balances its sweet, juicy citrus with freshness. Made from a blend of 72% Semillon and 28% Sauvignon Blanc, picking took place September 3, finishing September 10. 14.3% ABV, 3.3 pH. Drink from 2025-2040. 97-97 Pts.

  97 vvPunkte / (72% Semillion, 28% Sauvignon Blanc, 14.3% Alkohol). Grapefruit und Kräuter, Zitronenzesten, Gewürze, grüne Walnuss, ein Hauch von Heu. Im Gaumen reichhaltig, rund, sehr füllig, cremige Textur, das sind schon fast zwei Mund voll Wein, die Säure harmoniert mit der Frucht, der Wein ist ausladend, würzig und sehr langanhaltend im Abgang.   En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Seven (Bordeaux): medium minus intensity aromas of gooseberry, fresh grass, a little almost lemongrass note, touches of green apple, sweet spice and polished oak as well as a little almost yeasty note. Interesting nose. Juicy green apple with a slight apple skin bitterness, smidge of non-intrusive alcohol warmth, textured rasp is slightly drying on the mid palate. Disappointing palate after the nose.
