Superb dinner wine!.... now 14 years old, with fine balance. Lemon meringue tartness coupled with full bodied oak infused vanilla ( but not overbearing in the oak dept.) on palate, persistent rich citrus and mineral notes, with an echo of ripe pears on the finish...my last bottle, damn it...a real treat with trout and roasted potatoes.

HDH Bordeaux Auction; 10/30/2015-10/31/2015 (Chicago, IL): Wow, this is a real surprise. I love the waxy ripe fruits on the nose, followed by incredible freshness on the palate. Yes, the oak treatment here is pretty heavy, but there's no astringency at all. This is as smooth as they come, and the acidity that I'm getting here is amazing, not to mention a nice hit of minerality as well.

Fat, dense, lush and concentrated with ample, sweet citrus, stone and honeysuckle notes. But the wine lacks the level of acidity needed to really make it sing, as opposed to just fine and interesting.

Perfect looking bottle, but highly oxidized (amber color, heavy taint on nose). Not at all enjoyable
