What a treat to be able to try this last night (brought by Chris Chew). Far from dead, this had both acid and red fruit along with all those other flavors--cedar, leather, mint--that older Bordeaux (and Sangiovese, and....) also show. Impressive for a wine that was being made at the time Germany was invading Poland to start WWII.
