Still very young and fresh, no tertiary notes at all but all red fruit. Could be a bit fuller to get a higher score

Vegetal,almost mouldy nose but not to the point of being flawed. Energetic on the palate, much better than the nose, lip-smacking, quite powerful but there is that vegetal undertow. Poor vintage of this wine on this showing.

Great Pommard 1er cru: red cherry, tobacco, dried flowers, soft espresso, prune, exquisite balance, medium body, strong long aftertast.

Inviting nose, developing towards tertiary notes but for the moment still fruit and a lovely herbaceous character that dominate. On the palate, masculin and balanced. Good finish. Tannins can still develop further. Nice and enjoyable but like most rest burgundy these days, rather expensive for what it is.
