At first I wasn't impressed, but the silky fruit grew on me and in the end I rather enjoyed it. Not exactly über-rich, this is more like a polished version of a classic style, which reminded me of Villeneuve. At 11 euros, good value. |

Nice nose, but the palate was quite tart and an uneventful mouthfeel and lack of a strong tannic backbone left me wanting. Improved a bit after a few hours decant. |

Explosive notes of super ripe red and dark berries, mostly blueberries and blackberries, some jam, also some licorice, there is also some caramel and crushed flowers. It‘s medium-full bodied, with medium-high acidity and medium+ tannin that is just a touch drying. Pretty long finish with a touch of bell pepper notes. |
