The mouth showed great high noted pure fruits of lemons and oranges. There was a great chalky texture and a spicy acidity that went on for a long finish. Delicious. |

Light-to-medium golden in color, it is a medium-bodied, softly oaked, seamlessly alcoholic (13%), crisply acidic Chardonnay that delivers flavors mirroring the nose. Beautifully dense in the middle and long on the back end, this is a terrific wine that is even better than its 2020 sibling. Sampled over a three-hour period from a bottle that had been popped and poured, it was immediately expressive. This certainly can be enjoyed now, but it will get even better with some cellar time. Enclosed with a Diam 10 cork. Drink now-2034. |

Palate is somewhat acidic, floral, chalk, maybe a hint of butter and citrus on the finish. Very pleasant. In comparison with Mayacamas 2021 Chardonnay, the Brocard is a bit more refined and elegant, while the Mayacamas is more fruity and powerful. Both very good. |

Exotic and appealing signature to the oak which is just about restrained alongside a green apple note. Refined and contained concentration on the palate, sharp acidity with a cossetting depth and long pithy finish. Yum. |
