Nose of honey, macadamia, green fig, starchy fall apple and lilac. Viscous honey on the palate. Not overly heavy, though acidity could have been more prominent. White pepper, melon, nutty, marmalade. With a touch more acid this would be phenomenal, but this bottle was still quite good

Marzipan, hazelnuts, cold steel, warm apple crumble on the nose. On the palette, the fruit less there, but added ginger, and nice acidity giving a real tingly feeling on the tongue. Some herbaceousness and mild pithy bitterness too. The richness of the nose didn’t translate though.

Pours a medium gold. More restrained and less exuberant than some of the white Hermitage I’ve enjoyed in the past with baked yellow apples, honeysuckle, blanched almonds, dry river rocks, honeycomb, and camomile. There’s a touch of spice and bitterness on the palate, which is concentrated and persistent.

Lovely gold color. Honey and lemon on the nose. Viscous fruit on the palate, honey, lemon, apricot. Nice acidity, great balance. Finishes long with delicate notes of honey and almond. Bright, fresh, no oxidation. I'd guess this is at peak or perhaps a little past. Drink over the next year or so.

Dark gold color. The nose is honey and floral with a bit of an astringent note. Viscous on the palate, honey, stone fruits. Lush acidity (if that's a thing!) and great balance. Finishes moderately long with lemon and a nutty note. Quite nice, but here's the caveat. This quickly peaked with air (perhaps 10 minutes) but then started a slow decline starting at about 45 minutes. So, don't even think of decanting, just pop and pour. I'd drink over the next year or two.

Had this wine twice from my cellar at constant excellent level. This bottle was totally finished, but the cork was perfect 🤨. Over the last few years I had a few early matured hermitage’s from Chapoutier. Should be careful.

Lighter body than I was expecting. Lovely nose of peach, apricot, fresh flower leaves. On the palate just a touch of honey on top of ripe white fruit. Slightly oxidized. Don’t think there is a point to keeping it longer. Drink up. For a white Hermitage, delicate and poised, with none of the heaviness or bitter edges that can crop up. Not overly sweet either. Very fine. Score: 92-93. Relative to expectations: +

Colour turning towards gold. Nice nose from dry fruits, peaches, some honey; rather complex. Very slight oxidation (I bought this bottle from a delicatesse food shop where it might not have been stored correctly). Balanced taste of rounded acidity with mellow fruit. Medium long finish. From this bottle I would say: drink now.

the wine was bright orange which made me think that the wine went through accelerated ageing considering how old the wine is. The wine has notes of oxidized apples. Interesting and delicious but if this is what the wine is supposed to taste like then i would say it is a bit weak on the qpr side

This has really improved just in the last year or so. It is now well rounded, mature, with hints of fruit, stone and fantastic length on the finish. I enjoyed this with a whole grilled snapper and the wine and food married very well. Very complex and although it might stay at this point for several years, I dont see it benefitting from more storage. I will probably consume mine within the next 3-5 years.

Smells like a colorful spring meadow and tastes like cote d'Or on steroids. This wine is full-bodied but still has a great structure and distinct minerality. This wine has a great PQR. It even improved with time.

A beautifully balanced wine which is drinking well now but undoubtedly will keep for several years. Unctuous mouthfeel of glycerine. Ripe aromas - rich but not overly so. Peach, melon and a balanced touch of oak. Decanted for 2 hrs but continued to improve with more aeration. Best appreciated just a bit below room temperature. Very reminiscent of the pleasure of a fine white burgundy from the Cote d'Or.

Dry, medium plus acidity, medium alcohol, medium plus body, viscous up front, dry fine linen finish.
Medium plus intensity flavors of apricot, honey melon up front, tightening into, lemon juice, lemongrass, switching to quartzite, slight clean smoke. Long length. outstanding. Drink 2015-2030

Exquisite. I cannot praise this highly enough. It is a mouthful of honeysuckle, butter, hints of melon and an undercurrent of something like sunshine. It has a pale green yellow color and an aroma of flowers, wheat fields and cherry blossoms. It explodes in the mouth and loosens your tongue and makes you smile and be happy. I loved it.

Rich, mineralic and great depth. The bouquet is tantalizing and quite complex. A full bodied Hermitage, with some butter and nuts which should go well with seafood or Bresse Chicken with cream sauce. It did not close down, like other vintages I had, so the future should be bright for this wine.
