Agree with Capanni. This was a medium-bodied Cab Sauv, with blue fruit mid-palate profile somewhat fruit forward (not a fruit bomb IMO as others have said - but some of those opinions were in 2017), with short finish, with very little tannin, mild acidity. Not bad at all, reasonable value given that it came from CA. But I'd rather drink a later vintage Kaiken Ultra Malbec with it's more muscular longer lasting finish than this. As a wine drinker who drinks every day, and is not happy with the prices of CA wines, please take note!

Nose is not bad—sweet red fruits and blackberry with oaky notes; almost like a Pinot noir. Palate let’s it all down though—dry and hard with some fruits but ultimately disappointing.

Very nice with a bit of cellaring. Drank next to an Isosoles and it was a bit different but comparable in quality. Medium plus weight, smooth with dark fruit notes, mild acidity in mid-palate and pleasant finish with hardly any tannin. Good QPR compared to the Isosoles.

Justin makes some very good wine, but their lower end Cab. Is not in that category. There is noth8ng wrong with it, but nothing great either.
On the nose, it is surprisingly medicinal with some underlying fruit. On the palate, it is the opposite of what we got on the nose. It is sweet with dark fruit, it there is nothing that makes it stand out. No depth, no underlying flavors.
I think there are other Cabs at this price point that are better.

Full bodied, very fruit forward, tastes of leather, tobacco, dark chocolate, black berry and other darker fruits, a little earthiness. Very smooth, medium finish, good legs. For a $20ish bottle, drinks better than most $30 bottles I've had. Great for a small gathering of friends and family!

PnP. Brown tinged ruby color. Aroma is sweet fig, plum, vanilla, and raisin. Taste is very smooth for 15%. Palate has more plum, purple fruits, vanilla. Slightly tart cherries in the medium-long finish. I thought this wine would get more complex as it opened up and warmed but never did. Kind of a one trick pony. I liked it but won't be buying more of it.

Pours a glowing plum with a juicy look. Not very leggy. Smells of cedar, brown spice, and sun-cooked grapes rubbed in mint. Right up front on the tongue, there is dill and sweet lemongrass. Cedar then carries in mildly chewy black fruit and spices buried in the tannins. Not much length, but so easy to quaff as a result.

A good weekday or Friday night wine - but nothing spectacular and it didn't wow us - but very nice for the price point. Enjoyed it with a pasta dinner and it opened up nicely after an hour decant - but still not very complex. It's definitely young and will probably be best in a few more years. I may buy a few to hold onto for a couple years to see how it does - but only if I can grab it on sale below $24.

Drank a couple days ago so no formal notes. Dense nose with significant oak--pleasant but a bit overdone. Silky tannins, significant residual sugar. I don't mind a touch of residual sugar in a cab, but this has a bit more than that. Saved a glass in the fridge overnight, which was essentially the same, but displayed some additional notes of herbaceousness/green tea. Solid and reliable mass-produced wine, but isn't really my style (although Liz would like it). Not worth $30 price tag in my opinion, but it would be a reasonable wine to get at a restaurant if there aren't more interesting options and you just want a reliable crowdpleaser.

Justin always makes a solid Cab for the price and this was no different. Cedar / Cassis / dark fruits on the nose. Med/Full bodied wine with the palate mirroring the nose for the most part. Great acidity and enough tannin there to suggest this will be wonderful in a few years.

Medium-dark with a tinge of purple at the rim. On the nose is oak and dark fruit, maybe a bit of leather. On the palate is quite an intense oakiness with some black cherry and plum. Dinner with Friends (Eno's Pizzeria & Wine Bar Coronado): The nose is still tight but black cherries, currants, dill, and a hint of oak are evident. Full bodied and youthful, this opens up beautifully, revealing red orchard fruit, a refreshing streak of minerality, ample length, and a woody finish.

Woody and old oak nose. 8/10.
Tannins 7/10 and some alcohol in the finish but not overpowering.
This is a cloud pleaser which is not too thin or fruity but at the same time it's fruity forward 8/10.
Very interesting to me is that the nose disappears very quickly when in the glass. I am not sure I have seen this as pronounced as this previously.
This is a beautifully drinkable arrive with medium+ body and a moderate+ finish. 7/10
Many may rate this 88 but I think given the points it hits on so many fronts it is worth more. Far better than most $20 wines.
And great value for money. (90 points)

Massive fruit, lumber, and alcohol. The wine does show some varietal characteristics. Likely best to pair with sweet barbecue. Beware the alcohol!

Big fruit bomb. Develops a little over a couple of hours but this is as sweet and alcoholic as a cab can taste.

Great acidity and enough tannin there to suggest this will be wonderful in a few years.

on the nose - bright fruit, slight iron notes, green/cedar notes; medium acid, medium tannins, a little spicy on the palate. open up a lot, suggest decanting at least one hour. better value than some more expensive cabs

Medium-dark with a tinge of purple at the rim.
On the nose is oak and dark fruit, maybe a bit of leather.
On the palate is quite an intense oakiness with some black cherry and plum. Medium to high tannin. Was very closed upon opening, so I decanted for an hour. Lightened up a bit.
Very easy drinker but nothing memorable.

Full-bodied yet surprisingly one-dimensional. A decent wine with dark fruit. Nothing special.

Delicious wine. Loving the way this 14 drinks, a little more polished than the 13. Soft tannins, dark fruit. some herbal notes throughout. definitely worth the $25

Nice wine - get the comments that its a little simple but this paired well with steak at a restaurant and with grilled chicken. Dark fruits (& sweet cherry) on nose & palate with a touch of mint. 90+/- Would buy again.

The Fleming's 100 50/50 Tasting Event Walnut Creek, nose of black and red fruit, cranberry, and cassis, same on the palate, cranberry tart, touch simple, a value proposition, medium body, good acid, soft tannins, and a medium/long finish.

A bit disjointed. Has a bit of acidity and tannin that might see it through this period. Would lay to see if it comes together. Has potential.

14 months in 25% new American oak. Solid, American oak definitely shows with some dill, sweetness, obvious cedar, then typical notes of black fruit, spiced mocha. Good for the price point.
