The wine has shown the ability to develop in a glass from a light wine with recognizable aromas and taste to a more complex wine 🍷
Color: pale straw Aroma: elegant aromas of citrus (lemon, grapefruit), gooseberry, grass cuttings, apples, as well as mineral tones (silicon, salt). Overall aromas are fresh and light, the wine has a crisp feel due to its acidity Taste: dry wine, with fresh acidity and moderate alcohol (13%), due to its acidity I would describe it a little harsh. The wine is moderately round and mineral, with an average balance, above average flavor intensity and a long aftertaste (mineral aftertaste) This is a 100% mature wine that can be drunk in the coming year.
Due to its chic acidity, it goes well with crustaceans, molluscs and fish (but not very fatty).

Pristine clarity. Subtle notes of grass and gunpowder on the nose. Brisk green melon on the palate. The first wine drunk out my new Zalto white wine glasses—I now see what the hype surrounding these glasses is all about.

Fantastico.

Lovely whiff of chalk, lime and cream upon opening. Similar flavors carry through the complex, medium-bodied, minerally palate. Extremely well-balanced, especially on the long finish. Shows best when cold; ideally straight out of the fridge or only a couple degrees warmer. Overall a classic Sancerre from a great producer and at a fair price.

Tasting note. An aromatic and subtle wine. Has intense aromas of chalk infused lightly grassy stone fruits+gooseberries. Its delicious, subtle yet silky+layered medium bodied palate has lovely acidity+depth. Ends long! Wow this is great! 13%.
Medium body, pale golden color. Intense pineapple, citrus and grassy aroma. Lovely Sancerre palate of gooseberry and lime combined with lingering lemon grass finish. Dry, crisp and refreshing, complex and well balanced citrus acidity. Food friendly, tasted with grilled sea bass. Serve 11º - 14º. Drink now and next couple years.
Absolutely love this wine. It’s really polished and expressive, full of freshness and vinosity, and the lemon-lime, gooseberry, white stonefruit, and mineral notes are clean, taut, and gently structured. Best of all it tasted like a wine of place. Excellent with food.

Paired with sushi and I agree with the previous note - missing a bit of that mineral note that I think helps with a fish pairing. Very drinkable though. Three of us took down two bottles without much effort. Very basic, but very drinkable.

Middle-of-the-road Sancerre, perhaps with a bit more of a tropical note. Missing the minerality I look to the appellation for, but pleasant none the less. Don’t see the WS Top 100 rating.

Gooseberry, elderberry, flinty, chalky, mineral. Acidity is very moderate and the overall palate impression is extremely round. Very true to its roots.
Aromas and flavors of lemon and ruby grapefruit, with both flinty and herbal notes in supporting roles. Elegant, with a beautiful mouthfeel countered by lively acidity. Perfect match with grilled salmon.

Unscrewed and poured, consumed over 2 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, honeydew, pear, and white flowers. Palate: Light-medium bodied, pear and tropical fruit fruit - mango and pineapple, attack, decent balance, tropical fruit persists thru the back-end and lingers thru a 30-45 second finish.

3.9 Bechmark Sauvignon Blanc. Got the typical aromas of gooseberry, elderberry and grass. But on the palate there’s also some chalk character and perhaps flint. Elegant for a SB.
After a couple of days in the fridge, the primary aromas were completely gone and it was more like an elegant Bordeaux.

Pale lemon. On the nose medium intensity aromas of green apple, grapefruit, lemons, minerality- wet stones. On the palate the wine is dry with high acidity, medium Etoh, medium body, medium finish and medium intensity with flavors of green apple, lemon, lemon pith, salinity, grapefruit. The wine is a nice crisp dry sancerre with little or no MLF, refreshing. balanced, with medium intensity and length. Overall a nice example of a lighter, refreshing, modern style sauv blanc from Sancerre pairing well with seafood, rich dishes, and some spice.

Nose: Lime, lemon creme, lemongrass, nicely projected and moderately forward.
Mouth: Light grapefruit, lemon pith, lime zest, cut grass, and a slate streak on the finish. Fruit feels missing first as it hits the palate, but the flavors and structure come through in unison together on the midpalate. Bright acidity rushes in before to being stopped short by a chalkiness on the drydown. Chalk comes together with pronounced acid pucker in the mouth after.
Overall: Well put together, fun to pick up and down. The effect of the acid into the chalk is mouthwatering overall and finishing a bottle of this in one sitting is no problem. Clean and fresh with structural effects that make this a keeper. Stays impressively light on its feet in general, even if the flavors lean heavily into the lemon/lime. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
