The Fourth Annual World’s Largest Blind Tasting of American Sparkling Wine; 12/20/2021-12/23/2021: Retail $28. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc. Pale straw in the glass with a yeasty goodness mélange of lemon curd, vanilla, and fresh brioche. The nose itself is close to a Whoa. The palate is equally delightful with an initial tanginess that succumbs almost immediately to the fruit and biscuity goodness. I have been a fan of the brand for a while now, but this might be their best effort.
Retail $28. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc. I have been a fan of Laetitia sparkling wines for years now (although I am fairly certain that I got on board after the Maison Deutz years). It has been awhile, though, since I have popped one of their sparklers and I have to say, I have missed the brand. Pale straw in the glass with a persistent, delicate sparkle exuding Fuji apple, hyacinth, and lemon curd. The palate is delightfully tart initially, followed by rich fruit and just a hint of sweetness. Excellent. thedrunkencyclist.com

Holiday Family Get Together (Home): 12.5% ABV; Tasted from a plastic cup™, so not rated. Also, I've no real idea as to when this was purchased, or for how long it had been stored.
N: Apples, just a smidgin of bread dough underneath?
P: LM body; Nice frt met by a crisp acidity leading into a tangy/swt finish which I can see having the wherewithal to accompany food. Seems at LEAST decently made, but won't rate because of the issues @ the top.

PnP. Pours a light straw yellow in the glass. Medium fine perlage. Nose and palate show a nice array of citrus including tart lemons and zest, tangerine and grapefruit, toasty/yeasty bread, hazelnuts, almonds and a touch of vanilla. Midpalate is rich and deep with the citrus and nuts coming through creating a lively and creamy textured drive through to the medium (+) finish. Good acid keeps this on point throughout the night and brings focus to an otherwise richly made style. Very nice.

Yeasty, flinty aromas and flavors of citrus, quince, and flowers. Offers ample minerality, frisky mousse, and a touch of sweetness. Could use more acidity. Crushed rocks on the finish.

Very nice and crisp, went well with Romanian style caviar for Christmas breakfast feast of 2015.Apple notes in the nose, semi sweet Riesling notes on the palette.

This wine is really great for the price. Basket pressed, old school production methods and good fruit lend a lot of structure and complexity to this affordable sparkler. Highly recommended.

A nice alternative to the Scharffenberger we've been consuming as our "daily" bubbles. After long believing that Cali just could not get traditional bubbles right, I'm rethinking it. Lots of brioche-y flavor, with pear notes and lemon chiffon on the follow. Finishes very clean, my wife thought it was drier than the Scharff, I was initially of the opposite opinion. It blossoms a bit with air, and tasted drier as the morning went on. Lovely yellow color.

A bit of reductive funk on the nose, attractive fruit across the finish. A bit over at $24 for me. Earthy power to the wine. Clean on the back, well made. Best at $19.
1/3rds in Chard, Pinot, & Pinot B.

Wine Marketing pours some wines: I was a little disapointed with this. It was nice, with a little nuttiness. Good fruit and nice acidity. But it didn't match up to the Roderer. 86-87

Still moving through lots of this sparkler. Great for everyday-keep-in-the-fridge bubbly. Mild yeasty, more biscuit/bread nose without the yeast stink. Crisp and light, refreshing wine. Have to get more again...

Drank on Christmas morning '16. Went well with Romanian caviar and cheese. Nice cutting acidity with just enough fruit and yeasty components.
