had this side by side with a Dujac BDR 2011 and a DRC RSV 96. Not surprisingly this couldnt hold up to the DRC but this outshone the 2011. great seductive nose with forest floor, lithe body filled with fruit and a pretty finish. not as ethereal as the DRC but a really terrific bottle.

This one has touch of cardboard aromatics and palate. Dark and short.
Clos de la Roche generally more spice, musk aromatics. Matte finish. Athletic and sinewy.

Wonderful, complex nose, great depth. A wine at the very beginning of its drinking window with huge promise.
