Rinaldi’s Vertical 2009-2015 (Franco’s house, Verona): Served double blind. As for the other flights with Brunate, Tre Tine shows older nuances both in colour and nose: very dusty with plenty of balsamic and amaro style hints, it lacks some precision in a certainly fresh mouth. Also giving him time, it doesn’t completely clean. The storage have been the same for all the bottles of the tasting since purchasing and obviously correct, maybe just an unlucky bottle? 88

Floral, Cannubi perfume: roses, violet, balsam. Supple fresh and still forward and fleshy on the palate. Interestingly more grip than the Brunate le Coste. The fruit turning a touch brown. Midweighted and not heavy. No sense of burnt fruit, but also not a ton of nuance. Has a bit of a midpalate hole compared to the BLC. Riper fruits and maybe unripe pips. Still outstanding, and a success for the vintage.

Pronounced nose intensity with notes of red and black fruits, flora, violet, spices, toast.

Sleek and round red and blue fruit with plums and rose petals. Much less tannic on day two.
