Casual Dinner with Friends (Ceres Table - Chicago IL): Very ripe peach and mango on nose and palate with slightly sweet spice. Still drinking very nicely for the 2003 vintage, even if seemingly short on structure. Don't hold this long-term, but it's certainly not on the decline.

Lush stone fruit with white summer flowers on nose. Same fruit on palate, keeping clear of any over-ripe signs. Very good power shows acidity and minerality, but still this is a wine best to drink in its first 10 or 12 years.

(Most of) The Burgundy Verticals Tasting at La Paulee 2013 (Colicchio & Sons, New York): Exotic nose of mango and pineapple. Heavy, dull, low acidity. I would never have identified this as Meursault. Bizarre and consistent with the reputation and climactic conditions of the vintage.
