  Classy Burgundy from a tough vintage, this wine is very good. The nose is savory and meaty with underlying red pinot fruits and minerality. The palate is lovely with good balance and very good depth and concentration for an 04. Really well done wine. Fourrier is without a doubt one of the top producers in Burgundy.

  Brought to an '04 dinner. it was very nice very the first sip. Mature ripe dark berry profile, with some very interesting spicy sap notes and a bit of forest floor. I would not peg this as an 04. Very nice for a village wine. No GM's here!

  Lean, cola and earth nose, a prickle on the palate, then waves of gently medicinal pinot fruit, no sign of the meanies, it grew broader and richer in the glass.

  Drank at Asia Grand for mum and dad's anniversary. Showed even better than the last time I had this - a very nice village indeed, and great pairing with Peking Duck. Nose had a beautiful perfume that got me thinking Chambolle, all high-toned flowers, and pure red fruit, some maraschino cherries there. The Morey stood out in a lovely earthy counterpoint to the fruit, along with a sprinkle of Indian spice and lots of dusty, ferrous mineral notes. Palate was clean adn lively. Very typical Fourrier, with a nervy high-toned and very pure fruit expression. Again, the cherries to the fore. Quite a bit of sweet fruit weight here. Finish was decent, showing some 2004 bitter herbs, but certainly not enough to wreck the wine. It tailed off with a nice minerally note. Very good for a village indeed.
