Advanced colour, old gold; nutty, honeyed bouquet; similar on palate plus spicy; there is a freshness on an extended finish. Fully mature bit it help up well . Nevertheless drink up.

Thought this may be on the decline but in fact it opened with steely character, lime and then blossomed over hte next 30 minutes. Still going strong at 21 years but please drink up, I can see it will start its decline glide from here.

Bob's cellar. Iridescent golden yellow. Lime, marmalade, zest and honey nose, but definitely fresh. Light golden flavours, lemon zest is there, softer and more refined than the 2005 on opening. Really good, crystalline, poised, lemon/lime zest, and juice, age softened so has a lovely fullness. Lime oil comes out as it warms - like this a lot and it seems bombproof.

Flawless and fascinating. The wine was a contradiction of honey hay and ripe Tahitian limes balanced against a mineral, lemon zest and zing. The nose developed over an hour and was so alive and intoxicating. The palate had broadened and while fresh even refreshing it had lost its steely linear character to reveal a brand mouth filling range of flavours. the acidity gave the wine excellent length. For a 20YR old wine in a stelvin closure it has a good life still to come. Delicious

No detailed tasting notes. Superb aged Riesling, with aged acidity supporting a delicious wine. Really good.
