Hanging Out w/ Burgundy & Jura (Weygandt Wines & Ripple): It was shocking how good this wine was. The fruit was dense and complex with a great combination of plum, cranberries, cherries, earth, and mushrooms. This had gravitas too; a lingering finish, and depth that continued to expand with time.

Not bad, but underwhelming for La Romanée. Not much excitement. 91-92

Birthday Wines for Mr. Wei at Chateau De Husky; 6/29/2012-7/2/2012: Light and elegant grainy red fruit on the palate. There is still a sappy fruit flavor on the finish but it's fading. Fun to drink, but definitely not getting any better.
