Golden color; pain grille, very sl caramel, baked pear nose; rich full bodied melted butter- crying for poached lobster, ripe pear, baked apple flavors, mild allspice; great balance, acid not noticeable but there- otherwise the wine's full flavors would be overpowering, finish would not be as sharply drawn; long finish >45 sec of richness, creme brullee, vanilla. One of the most elegant California Chards I've ever had. But sadly, sliding over the hill now.

Light yellow color; nose of brioche, lightly roasted hazelnuts; rich ripe bartlett pear flavors, pain grille, ripe banana( very subtle); great mouth feel, rich but not cloying, great acidity-- if I had friends over to share, would love to compare to a Batard. Very long finish- 1-2 min. amazing wine a surprise!!

Outstanding. Nuts and honey, yet nice acidity and long finish.
