2022 Excellent Burgundy Adventure; 10/31/2022-11/6/2022 (Burgundy): Expressive nose displaying tropical yellow fruits, pineapple, peach, a hint of flint and oak, honey, creme brulee, cream and limestone. Excellent concentration, packed concentrated sweet tropical fruit, rich and oily, bright acidity, strong mineral, and a long concentrated ripe yellow fruit driven finish with caramel at the end. Kelly informs that Kistler has toned down on the oak usage in the past decade and it is evident. It is still very tropical nevertheless.

Palate of lemon curd, pear, apple and stone fruit. Some savory elements and a touch of minerality and med+ acidity. A big complex wine with terrific texture and a long finish. Excellent with grilled salmon on our 30th anniversary.

This energetic and layered Chardonnay is drinking beautifully right now. Golden in color and full in body, the wine offers aromas of pear, lemon meringue, almond shavings, and quince. The flavors are more expansive, with notes of cantaloupe, lime peel, saline, and pecan, with a soft but lively finish. 14.7% alcohol. This was more fulsome and integrated than a 2018 Peter Michael Ma Belle-Fille tasted on same night. Drink in next few years.

Really nice flavors of lemon curd, honeysuckle and flowers. Full of flavor and still with youthful structure
