The cork was leaky and there was significant ullage in this one. Black mold coated top, and the cork was loose and twisted when inserting the corkscrew part of Durand. Cork was fragmenting so filtered when decanting. Decanted for 1 hr. Color WS brick. Nose showed considerable oxidation and it came across as sherry. Nevertheless, this was potable and tolerable with pasta and bolognese. Disappointing though, and hoping its sister bottle (no appreciable ullage) will be better. To be drinkable at age 51 is probably better than they say about me!
