Notes from memory but another perfect example. Youthful, lush, bright, clean, spicy. Detailed and nuanced but endowed and powerful. Perfumed. Elegant and delicate at the edges notwithstanding the intense red and black cherry fruit. A spectacular wine, but couldn't concentrate on notes...
This was added as the last wine of the night, even after a blind ’91 Meo Camuzet and after ’91 Leroy Richebourg and Musigny, so it was very sadly a little overlooked and under-appreciated, notwithstanding it being a sensational masterpiece unto itself. Brilliant spice over lush red and black cherry fruit. This is less intense and spicy than the Riche but a little more flamboyant and showy, though not to the same perfumed degree as the Musigny. Darker, more concentrated, and less of that ethereal spice and soft red cherry that the Jayer had earlier in the night, stylistically towards the other end of the spectrum. [1538/3508]

Nice aromatics of dark fruit and spice with an easy-going palate. Drinking really well in what feels like an optimal spot of maturity.

Fresh nose but very thin on the palate and not much depth/complexity to is. It's either over the hill or just not my style of Leroy.
