  • 醒酒三个半小时,闻香有brett的皮毛味,李子和醋栗的香气,雪松气息,入口酸度高,单宁紧致,颗粒细腻,同样有些抓人,酒液咸,矿物感。话梅般的酸咸,李子的香气,一些香料感,后段回甘,伴随着草本植物的清凉感,余味是李子,香草和烤面包的气息。状态极佳的一支酒,口感鲜活,活跃的果香与香料感和皮毛味交织在一起,复杂而又持久,处在适饮高峰期,而且让你对它的未来还有小期待。

  • Probably past its peak, the medium bodied, soft wine seems to have lost some of its depth and fruit over the years. This requires drinking before it begins to truly fade away.

  • Last time I tried this I was underwhelmed. Marginally better now, balanced and pleasant but boring. 90 for construction but much less for fun.

  • Laconic experience. I was so excited to be finally trying the bad boy of Bordeaux who is apparently more extracted, oppulent, unbridled etc. But, ho humm.

    It's well made and somewhat intellectual. It's not sour, as I find mediocre Bordeaux wines are, but do I care if I have another 'well made somewhat intellectual wine'? Not really, unfortunately. Plenty of those out there. Not much distinguishing here.

    After 2 hours the tannic grip actually builds up rather than softens.

  • Licorice, bitter chocolate, boysenberry, plum and fresh herbs power the nose. Deep in color, looking younger than its true age, the wine is soft, round and silky, but the finish is clipped, cutting you off when you really want more.
