  • Deep gold color. Honey, apricot and petrol on the nose, joined on the palate by peach, honeysuckle, salinite and minerals. Good acidity adding terrific lightness and lift, the lightness helped by the 9% alcohol. This was a lip smacking wine, a real knockout, all of us licked every drop out of the bottom of our glasses. Why didn't I buy more?

  • Wow. This is a wine that defies description. This weaves together bright youthful peach, apple and pear fruit, developed smoky - almost burnished - flavours and an incredible mineral density with layers of earth, stones and salt into a complex, seamless package with the texture of silk and an ethereal elegance that makes it feel almost weightless. Incredible.

  • You have got to be freaking kidding me. This wine has minerality, primary fruit, earthiness, salinity, acidity, creaminess, smokiness, riesling-ness & every other-ness that wine can have. Trying to write a description is like trying to count angels on the head of a pin. You just have to throw your head back and laugh.
