Interesting wine. Rather more fruit-forward than expected, a bit obvious, complicating aroma of sweat and musk. Good, but simple, and I'd prefer more acid and grip; the structure has melted away.

Aroma of sour cherries and ripe wild strawberries. Light weighted, but intense, precise and structured on the palate. Tastes like it is made in an old fashioned style. Will last for another 10 years (at least).

Morgon and Fleurie with Charcuterie and Cheese (San Francisco): Light red center with a fading edge. Clean (hooray!) strawberry fruit. Fluid, elegant feel, and the first wine to show convincing natural sweetness of fruit. Excellent length and acidity with bitter citrus at the end. Far and away the best of the six wines tasted today and a real pleasure to drink at this point.
