1992 Dönnhoff Spätlese and 1998 Giacosa Asili (Chez V): [At home with Mikhail and Svetlana. Pop n pour.] Dark gold color. The nose is sweet and complex with a touch of botrytis. Still has firm acidity and great balance. Tastes aged, but not oxidized or over the hill in any way. A delicious wine. A touch short on the finish, but so tasty up front. With Serrano Ham, Country Pate, and Assorted Cheeses.
