World's Greatest - Night II (Daniel): Honeyed nose with big Chardonnay butter. Complex, big, and very inviting. Nose is rivaling that on the Leflaive Chevalier. Palate is nicely developed with overripe pineapple and mango. This is great. Ripe and delicious, in a perfect place to quash now.

Drunk at Judges Hotel, near Yarm. On the Bin End list, this was their last bottle, stored in the cellars since release. Only just past mid gold in colour, this was still remarkably fresh. A rich nose of honeyed fruit, with white flowers; the palate was dense, equally rich but with good residual minerality keeping the wine deceptively light. A "wow" bottle, amusingly paired with cheeseburger (as we'd ordered the food before seeing this on the wine list!). ****1/2

L'Anima Lunch - Second bottle in a week. Just can't stay away from this wine, it is just that good. A nice oily texture and a nose that was roaring with butterscotch. This bottle revealed even more fruit and was richer than the last one and and was well paired with the grilled scallops.

Ever so slightly oxidized, still decent, but not what it could be.

Certainly has the WOW factor, This was the best bottle I've had so far, similar notes to earlier, just that bit more of everything.
