Absolutely stunning. Dark golden. Beautiful nose and palate full of complexity (caramel, chocolate, marmalade). A bit metallic taste in the end that seemed to disappear with decanting.

First time drinking La tour Blanche, when opening the bottle, we discovered that the wine was reconditioned at the estate in 2006. Even if 1969 is not known to be a good year, i really enjoy old Sauternes and the typical candied fruits notes. Enjoyable wine.

Orange peel, tea, polish, ginger, dried apricots. Long and wonderful.
