Pop and pour over 6 hours. A highly aromatic and savory nose. Very front facing, with mossy earth and damp clay, over time showing more nuanced red currant, with hints violet and sweet tea. Palate gives off a bevy of rose, violet, tea and incense. There is a long and lingering finish of strawberry jam, cola and coffee notes. Very velvety at this stage and showing quite open and complex. Structured and nuanced, showing the quality a difficult vintage can yield.
