Brown bag at Prince - Rhone (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Served blind. Riper more concentrated red berries; slightly jammy but not overripe, strawberries, clean but a little earthy underpin and garrigue. Fruit travels long with drying grippy, slightly coarse tannins in support, the latter well managed. Medium plus length. Entry level CndP? Possibly village?

Had this at the Willamette valley vs the world event at Carlton winemakers studio. Compared against a 2018 Andrew Rich glacial Rhône blend. It was a dead tie, loved them both for their bramble elements and earthiness.

Medium bodied, bit acidic, smells plum, blackberry, vanilla
Palate: leather, earth, balanced, dark fruits, smooth, medium finish.
Very good value, elegant, buy again
