  great wine from an uncelebrated year, the cork looked reconditioned, bottle was in good shape. This is lean and linear, but slowly reveals itself as a dry, regal wine with subtle grass, wax, honey and herbs. Not a big wine and perhaps at its best after breathing 30-45 minutes. Excellent with food - lightly truffled, poached egg, fish etc.
