Decanted over cocktails. This is showing spectacularly with velvet red fruit, full body, fine tannins, spice, long finish. The To-Kalon fruit is special.

Wine Spectator newbies; 10/18/2018-10/20/2018 (Marriott Marquis): This is dominated by the pepper which just seems to jump out of the glass at you. There's still the darker fruits and some tannin and of course the alcohol at the end. A certain crispness to the wine that I didn't expect. This is clearly well done in this style and interesting to try it with some age. This hasn't actually aged all that much - many more years to go.

Kind of dumb to PNP at end of big dinner and 4 prior bottles, but this was tasty and enjoyed by all, especially the Cali fruit whores who had gamely endured all the French stuff previously. No real insight or note, but fun and easy to drink

This was perhaps the best Cab I have ever had. I've had Screaming Eagle, Scarecrow, Harlan all he powerplayers in my time but this was another level.

I Guess I Just Don’t Get It (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida): My contemporaneous note only contains one word: “blah.”
