Wildman Grand Tour (RPM - Chicago IL): Walkaround tasting. The vintage before receiving 1er cru status. Rich and mouthcoating, this has plenty of structure and plenty of depth. Nothing opulent here, but lots of Macon character with very good potential.

$100+ Blind Tasting (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Single vineyard (now a Premier Cru) that sits adjacent to Le Clos, full southern exposure and sun- hence Brule or burned, steep and well drained, barrel fermentation, aged in 100% new oak; sizzling, exotic, intense, so much stuffing, tangerine, really serious, great oak spice, hazelnut, powerful rich and the right combination of hedonistic and serious like Batard Montrachet (QPR?), decadent which is not a bad thing.
