  Drink from 375. Very approachable MSD 1er. Sour Cherry from the beginning with a hint of honey and sweet spice which I don't usually find. Good acidity on the palate but overall it feels tight. Opens up after 1 hour in the glass, rose petal, some earthy note, overall pretty savory with fruit in the background.

  Another good bottle from this reliable producer. Approachable now but has potential to improve. Opens up quite quickly after opening. The 2014 has been, and continues to be , a great wine. Not yet clear how this 2015 compares.

  Ruby red with some signs of age on edges. Nose of black and red fruit. Cherry, blue fruits and berries, some earth. Palate was a bit tight and rustic. Some pronounced tannins, but ripe. Fruit is consistent with the nose — ripe red and blue fruits — and something slightly vegetal that I didn’t quite like. I think this will improve with some more age.
