(Cadence Red Wine Ciel du Cheval Vineyard Red Mountain) Heady aromas of black and red fruit meld with mineral, floral notes, and currant. The palate is bold yet restrained with length and depth supported by firm tannins that need some time to fully stretch their legs. A beautiful wine that needs more time in the bottle to fully come into its own. Give two plus years or a long decant. 41% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot, and 6% Merlot. 14.4% alcohol. Sample provided by winery

Excellent! Beaucoup de fruit noir, saveur de torréfaction et de réglisse. Bien fait, long en bouche, savoureux. Une belle complexité. Aussi bon que les dernières, mais avec une belle patine du au vieillissement.
Un assemblage bordelais très réussi.

Dark ruby red. Dark cocoa on the nose with black cherries, mocha, minerality and some chalkiness. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium body. Well rounded palate with dark cherries, dark gravel and chocolate. Long finish. Drink till 2025.

Excellent, degusté avec un osso-buco de veau, à l’ouverture sans periode d’aération le vin manquait un peu d’amplitude mais une demi-heure plus tard, c’était l’explosion de saveurs, de fruits noirs, mûres, bleuets, framboises, poivrons, vanille le tout sans trop de rugosité mais quand même avec un niveau tannique fort acceptable. Bref un très bel équilibre.

Nez de réglisse, fruit rouge. En bouche encore une bonne présence tannique mais bien équilibré. Sensation de chaleur.

Decanted 1.5 hrs. Great depth, paired well with turkey soup. Still could last at least 2 more years.
