Oxidized enough to be unenjoyable.
on the end but still really enjoyable
Aged Raveneau- Blind: Blanchot Vertical, 1990 Horizontal (Tom's House, Palo Alto): A wow nose for me. Funky, sweat, intense, good fruit; palate is full, balanced; medium finish. The intensity of the nose carried this wine and helped it really stand out of an excellent blind flight. 95-96. My #1, group's #5.
Aged Raveneau Blindtasted: Blanchot Vertical, 1990 Horizontal (Tom's House, Palo Alto, California): Group's #5 (my #6) – 76 pts.; 1, 4, 4, 0 - light medium golden yellow color; reduction, brioche, roasted almond, baked lemon, butter nose; youthful, creamy textured, tart lemon, butter, mineral palate; will go 10-15 more years; long finish 92+ points
