Garnet color with just a hint of browning. Nose: Candied violets , forest floor, mild cedar, faint cinnamon bun. Palate: Very little fruit, medium body, medium+ tannins, medium+ acidity. Decent finish. Perhaps I should have opened this two or three years ago - it might have had more fruit to balance the tannins and the acidity.

Amber tinged ruby. Tar, dried roses and earth dominated nose. Not much fruit or sweetness and not too forgiving but think I would guess barolo blind. Denectly long finish but with some astringency. Drinkable for sure.

PnP, consumed over 3 hours. Appearance: Clear, pale garnet. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with aromas of classic Barolo scents of cherry, rose petal, tar, leather and spice. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, tannins are on the soft side but very present - medium+, medium body, medium intensity, 14.0% abv back label (13.5% front label - I'm feeling the back label is closer to the truth) with a medium+ finish. Overall a very nicely done entry level Barolo showing classic Nebbiolo characteristics with great complexity and length. Drinking well upon opening today but has the stuffing to go another 3-5 years easily.

Barolo notes but nothing special. Would probably have better 4 years ago.
