Complex aromatics (red fruit, herbs, undergrowth, cedar, coffee, granite), good depth; slender but well-structured, clean and lively, slightly dry but attractive. Well on its plateau of maturity.

Bright red colour, mature appearance; transparent and well-defined, spices, undergrowth and granite, ripe but firm structure, hint of cold tea, good length. Drink up.

Much darker colour and tonality than I remembered; black fruit, granite and mint; quite slender, elegant and very vital, well-balanced, with a good structure of ripe acidity and pithy tannins, relatively dry but flavoursome and with some sève; fine length. Typical for vintage and terroir.

Lively appearance, mature but with a bright red core; red fruit, oak, herbs, fresh and lively, good depth, lovely granite minerality; elegant like a fine claret from a lighter year, stylish, transparent and vivid, medium weight, well-matured, well-rounded, nice tannic grip; good length. Delicious and versatile.

Relatively young and vibrant appearance, lively ruby red; magnificent, dark and spicy nose, liquorice and bay leaf, concentrated fruit of blackberries, blueberries and black cherries, real power, feral; medium weight, concentrated and juicy, flavoursome, powerful, good acidity, ripe tannins, older wood; good length. Very impressive, at peak.
