Opened to evaluate. This is a v easy drinking wine with a good nose of fruit, great sweetness, very ripe sour cherry flavoured with mild tannins that leaves a slight oak taste on the back of the palate. This has the makings of a great wine but time will tell. My advice.. don't open a bottle until they have at least 10+ years of cellaring.

Decanted for ~3-hrs prior to serving. Deep purplish, almost opaque... Wow, an "enormous" (stature) wine. Very, very young, with lots of "baby fat" where the quality was immediately discernable. Cherry/strawberry liqueur/sweetness on the nose, with bits of spice & smoke. So much fruit depth/concentration on the palate, yet so lively & balanced. A beautifully textured wine which culminated in a long finish. Definitely a baby which requires more cellar time!

Yesterday a new tasting with my friends, Domaines B.Leroux, B.Clair and Comte Armand (26 wines, only 2018) This is the notes of the best (for us) and some other with special impressions.
Barrel Tasting at Bruno Clair (Marsannay): A brilliant CSJ. Intensely perfumed with so much layering of red and black cherry, spice, meat and some stem character. Grand Cru concentration with so much rich fruit that is well contained and balanced. Everything is in harmony here. 93-95+
