d'Arenberg with Chester Osborn (Strand Cellars, Croydon): blackberry and black currant, quite concentrated fruit with a little jubey underpin, touch of black pepper, cream and sweet spice. Medium plus intensity acidity, concentrated blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, loads of tannins which proves drying and floury textured. Finishes with a touch of slight sour red plum.

The nose is a bit shy for the first hour, just some spicy plums and roasted sweet bell pepper. More earthy spices and cocoa emerged as it sits in the glass. It is not in your face style, nice balance bet medium-bodied structure, acidity and tannins. The palate is quite spicy with rounded texture. Easy drinking. Ready with some decanting and this should age well for the next 2-3 years. But this is not made for extensive cellaring.

40분 이상 열어두고 마시니까 과일향이 좀 더 부드러워져서 적당히 마시기 좋음
