Glycerine with grip, a pleasant wine that lacks tension for a young GC chablis. I have had more than a few ‘20 whites that didn’t have as much tension as I would prefer, and am wondering if it’s merely a phase or if the vintage isn’t what I expected.

Dinner at D Cuisine (Chicago, IL): Solid, but uninspiring. Ticks all the boxes with more of a tilt towards fruit than salinity and chalk, but good breadth on the palate, as you would expect for a grand cru. All in all, feels quite stainless-steel focussed, but there is a bit of waxiness that might actually be from neutral oak.
