This was a big bruiser. Not because of the mere 12.9% alc, but b/c of the big black dark whole of black fruit. Serious stuff, with hefty big tannins as well. This has depth and is going to go a long way, but was not as complex or nuanced as the K. Kennedy, which I preferred.

Nose - farty tobacco and pencil lead, intense minerality.
Prominent outhouse, lighter body with black plum and black currant, dried herbs.
